Hannam Vale Public School has a weekly Homework Policy.
Homework for Years K-6 includes working with their Soundwaves List for the week; mathematics aligned with teaching topic for the week, and researching news, and Home Reading or Premiers Reading Challenge depending on teacher discretion. Other projects will be included from time to time.
Students complete activities from Y3-6 Homework Activity Sheet, sufficiently explained in an activity sheet explanation booklet.
Each week students complete 1 or 2 activities (usually teacher directed) from each of the areas of Visual Discrimination, Phonemic Awareness, Word Study Skills (Etymology) and Semantic Knowledge.
